This rule watches the tuyamcu packets for the garage door state open or closed via the magnetic reed switch attached to the door.
Right now if the magnetic sensor is together it says it s off closed and i want that to be reversed.
Sometimes the sensor may be beyond repair due to wear and tear and in such a case your best bet is to replace the garage door sensor with a new one.
After opening it i saw that it is a tuya device based on a tywe2s module and a stm8s0003f3 mcu.

How do i go about reversing whether it says on or off.
Off course i flashed it with latest tasmota firmware and begun investigations.
Tasmota updates have changed some necessary settings.

I played around with lua and micropython on my esp8266 devices but now the tasmota actually allows me to do something useful with a bme280 sensor.
When pressing the button on the device the relay switches for 2 secs close contact for garage door controller.
The template from blakadder says it can be reversed by swapping two values.
Fnid 0 is set for dpid 7.
This allowed me to put the magnetic half of the reed sensor onto the chain which made for a very clean setup and more importantly i can tell when the garage is opened even just a little bit.
With the ops placement the garage appears as closed even if it s 99 open since the sensor isn t triggered until the door reaches 100 open.
Hi i can t find this anywhere on the internet whether tasmota on sonoff basic would support the a door opening sensor on gpio14 but without impacting the state of relay use gpio14 just for reporting the state ideally over mqtt.
This rule toggles the fake relay on the tasmota gui and can be monitored via the power1 mqtt topic.
